CAN U IMAGINE?

Can you imagine the tales told to you by your mom that when you were born that she had to stay up nights to ensure You would not die of choking on your milk or saliva? That was me!
SATAN WANTED TO TAKE ME OUT AT BIRTH!
But God Had Other Plans…..
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosperous and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Can you imagine growing up and having severe joint pains and you are told THAT’S JUST GROWING PAINS!
Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV) 6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Can you imagine going off to college and one day you just can’t take the pain anymore. You go to the infirmary and later to the hospital.
You are diagnosed with a disease you can’t pronounce: SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS.
AND U SAY THANK U JESUS - I KNEW I WAS NOT CRAZY!
John 8:32 (NIV) 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Can you imagine All the literature stating you have 10 years max to live after diagnosis?
Can you imagine believing you can’t have children, but yet a man marries you and you are blessed with a baby boy for you to love and cherish.
Matthew 19:26 (ESV) 26 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Can you imagine wondering if you will live to see your son make 16 years old, but living to see him get married and have 6 children?
Psalm 37:4 (NIV) 4 Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Can you imagine finding out your kidneys are shot and the best thing to take is a chemo drug? U take chemo drugs from 1998 to 2014 with all these unknown side effects and SURVIVE!
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Can you imagine being diagnosed with colon cancer while on a chemo drug, go figure! But with a colon resection, no further chemo is needed.
Matthew 17:20 And He said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.
Can you imagine going to work with only enough strength to put one foot in front of the other. Then you know it’s time to start dialysis. You start training and 3 weeks later you and your husband are in a wreck. He’s in the hospital for 18 days and you walked away with only a split on your forehead. Your son steps in and completes the training with you so you can do home Hemo dialysis. His job which he had recently started gave him favor and allowed him to train with me for three weeks.
Proverbs 3:4 (KJV) 4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
Can you imagine 5 months later contracting a bacteria in your dialysis port.
Then one week later having open heart surgery to replace your aorta valve.
Then 3 weeks later having your gallbladder removed.
Isaiah 41:10 - Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Can you imagine that through all of my life struggles that God has been good to be!? There are so many times God has showed himself in my life other than those previously mentioned. I have been blessed beyond measure.
Can you imagine thinking you can’t get a job because you have Lupus. But God has allowed me to have several jobs with progressively higher responsibilities. He has entrusted me with many opportunities and I thank him.
Fearful though I was of what was to come, I believed the Lord would provide in every situation.
1 Corinthians 10:13 (NIV) 13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
